Drisag recup

Designed during my BanaBa Furniture Design

The Saddle125 is made from the seat of a Drisag shell. The shape of the seat, which resembles a saddle, is sawn directly from the shell. The playful shape of the saddle returns in the cantilever structure under the seat. The Flyer newspaper rack was created by sliding two back surfaces of Drisag shells together. These are attached to the legs from below with round rubber rings. The cracks in the plywood of both objects were filled with a mixture of polyester and red pigment.
